Introduction

Bayou City Industrial Contractors, Ltd. was founded in 1995 to provide mechanical, civil and structural steel construction services to the refining, chemical and petrochemical industries. In June of 1997 Jeff Bearden, one of the original founders of the company, purchased the interest of his partners and relocated the company to La Porte, Texas. Jeff's decision was based on his total commitment to each of his clients; to provide the highest quality of services while maintaining the desired schedule and holding cost within the allowed budget. Our entire staff prides itself on careful attention to all details and aspects of the job including quality, schedules, cost control and most importantly safety.

History

Bayou City Industrial Contractors, Ltd. continuously monitors our clients needs for service and responds accordingly. In the summer of 1999, Bayou City broadened its services by obtaining ASME Code Pressure Vessel "U" and National Board "R" certifications. Also, in the fall of 1999, Bayou City Industrial enhanced our service offerings to include Building Construction. We have diversified even more within the last year with our Building Remodeling capabilities and our most recent addition is an Electrical and Instrumentation Department.

Bayou City Industrial Contractors, Ltd. has enjoyed substantial growth over the past thirteen years, more than doubling our sales each of the last three years. In order to accommodate this rapid growth, continue our commitment to each client and to allow for future expansion of our services, the company purchased 5.25 acres of land in La Porte, Texas in 1998 and began development immediately. Today Bayou City Industrial Contractors, Ltd. proudly operates out of our newly constructed two-story building consisting of 5,200 square feet of office space and a 5,700 square foot shop facility. Bayou City also has 2.75 acres available for use as a material/equipment yard and 2.0 acres for future expansion.
