BCI has a long track record of executing difficult projects this longtime customer and this project was no exception. BCI was given an 80 Day window from lockout to PSSR to complete this project. BCI’s scope was to demo all piping and electrical. After demo phase was complete BCI was tasked with carefully removing and replacing 2 reactors with just 5” of clearance. Once the new reactors were in place BCI was responsible for installing all new piping systems that were fabricated in house at BCI’s pipe spool shop. BCI was also responsible for a new concrete trench and pump pads, upgrading all electrical and all new insulation and heat tracing. This project was completed ahead of schedule after our customer added 2 weeks of extra work.
